THE RECEPTION
A wedding reception at Skendleby Hall is a celebration of love, style and togetherness, set within a house designed for unforgettable moments.
Whether you are hosting a formal wedding breakfast, a relaxed afternoon gathering or an evening filled with music and dancing, the Hall offers a variety of spaces to suit your day. Enjoy drinks in the drawing room or on the lawn, dine in the oak panelled Drawing Room, and celebrate late into the evening in a setting that feels both intimate and impressive. With complete flexibility and the freedom to choose your own suppliers, every detail can be shaped around you and your guests.
Oak Panelled Drawing Room
Wedding Breakfast and Ceremony seating up to 60 guests – and additional guests up to 75 in the evening.
Our Drawing Room is opulent with it’s oak panelling, large windows that frame the outside scenery and with a laid back luxury style is used for both wedding ceremonies and wedding breakfasts.
You can soak up the history and enjoy the elegant interiors with chandeliers and portraits from the period. The oak panelled Drawing Room is a very special room to create memories with laughter, romance and enjoyment.
The Brackenbury Lawn
The Brackenbury Lawn is the perfect outdoor space in Spring or Summer for a ceremony taking in the breathtaking views of the Lincolnshire Wolds with the Hall behind as the perfect backdrop.
Each of the spaces can be styled and themed to suit your wedding and we do have lots of wedding decor from white blossom trees to stylish silk flowers. The Hall itself is enchanting, calming and very romantic.
Music Room
Wedding Breakfast and Ceremony seating up to 40 – and additional guests up to 75 in an evening.
Our light and airy Music Room is an elegant and very stylish room to celebrate smaller ceremonies and wedding breakfasts. With high ceilings, infinity lighting a piano and lovely views across the Wolds has a very calming feel.
ACCOMMODATION
Your wedding at Skendleby Hall includes the rare opportunity to stay within a historic country house, offering comfort, privacy and space for your closest friends and family to share in the experience.
With 13 individually styled bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, the Hall sleeps up to 28 guests, making it ideal for hosting your wedding party all under one roof. Each room blends classic character with modern touches, creating a warm and welcoming space to relax before and after the celebration. From the night before to the morning after, you and your guests can enjoy the full experience of the historic hall at your own pace, surrounded by peaceful countryside and elegant interiors.

Whether you are looking for a simple ceremony or a min moon wedding weekend we would love to work with you to theme and style your very special day from grazing platters to tasting menus everything we do is bespoke. We have on hand a range of wedding decorations and our stylish Jo from Ambience Styling is on hand to assist, plan and theme the wedding that’s just for you.
From a small and intimate wedding for 20+ in our Dining Room to a larger Wedding Breakfast in our Oak Panelled Drawing Room for up to 60 is where we create romance, mixed within a historic backdrop.

We are licensed for up to 75 guests at the Hall.
We we can offer a range of wedding options from a mid week through to an overnight and 3-5 night stay so talk to us about what you might like.
Yes we have plenty of parking available at the Hall.
Yes if you need to sleep more than 28 at the Hall we can arrange further accommodation at holiday cottages in the village.
